This battle is a lot like the battle with the giant Ursula.
1. Cast areo or its upgrades so his blue and red orbs bounce off of you.
2. Lock on to his head to manuever around easier.
3. Get behind his head and unleash combos.
4. Get far away from him when he raises his arms.
5. Heal when necessary.
6. Fly back toward him when he blows you back.
There you go. Your reward for beating him is the shared ability superglide.
