Where is the basement in the temple?

I had a lot of trouble with this myself... I don't blame you for being unable to find the door. To get into the temple basement you first need the 'old temple key' which you find in a kitchen like area. This opens the door to the basement. The door is located on the south side of the long east-west hallway that leads to the kitchen room.
