In the battle for midway 2nd mission I've cleared all primary and secondary goals but the troop planes are still getting shot down just before the island.Can someone please help me figure out what I'm missing?

Well just keep finding japs and shoot them down. There might also be a waypoint that you have to go to or you either have to land the plane.
