Question for Harvest Moon: A Wonderful Life Special Edition

It's really weird that my grass in the field won't even grow. Is it a glitch or game error? I can't even cut them to stock up my fodder for my animals.

How long does it take for the grass in the field to grow?

Regular grass in the field around the barns fence is light green. When you start off you have like 20 fodder so you cow can eat 2 fodder once a day or twice a day when she is pregnant or if it's hot out they seem to usually eat twice depending on the cow.

You can buy fodder at the green house across the bridge for like 20g. I usually like to buy at least 200 to 300g worth. I put them down like I would a crop or a tree. If the grass is dark green you can cut it. But remember it takes about 2 to 3 days to grow. But if it's brown it means it's fall and you can cut it. Dark brown you can cut, like light brown you have to wait with fertlizer and light green with fertizlier you have to wait. Dark green and dark brown are cutable. But be patient. You have to strategize. The only thing I wouldnt get is the pond. The goose are cute, but it takes to much room and the eggs cost the same as the chickens.

Just be patient and everything gets easier. The guy on the farm says, "take one day at a time!" he's right it works.. Good luck.
