Firstly you have to go to the portrait of the man with the books on the seventh floor. Then you have to go to the portrait on the second floor (the one that leads to the corridor to charms and the library) then you'll need to go to the transfiguration courtyard and through there you go to the Herbology classroom on the stairs to Herbology there is a portrait of a sheperdess you must speak to her and she'll send you to the portrait in the viaduct. Then you have to go to the portrait of the man with the dog and he'll give you the password
