How can you win the first horserace- 3 laps around the meadow?

Press your L2 a couple of times, tap it 3 or 4 times then keep hold of it, then release and tap and hold again, when the other guy starts to catch up.

If you tap it too much, this is going to flog your gee gee to death.

Keep an eye on the health indicator at the bottom left of the screen...the inner bit is your health and the outer section is your horses.

When you start the race you'll se a fork in the road take the on to the left and just follow the trail. Make sure that you press and hold the L2 button, but when you see the horses health going down let go of the L2 button and the horse regenerate it's health.

Do not take the first right stay left on the trail. Leave the trail and cut across the grass and stay close to the rocks at every opportunity. Do not let the other rider get the jump on you at the start of the race. Keep your horse at a steady sprint. Make some practice runs, finding the little cut across the grass opportunities.

I Won it in the end only just but I rarley pressed l2 but if you notice honest tom (dude your racing) is always on the track so I stuck to the right of the track s taying on the inside occasionlly using L2 and in the end I was level on the last corner and just beat him over the line.

When he says "ready" you can start running and he won't say you're cheating and get a little bit more farther up to him so he won't catch up.
