Question for Gran Turismo 4

I can't win the opel speedster manufacturer event race. I've fully tuned my opel speedster turbo. And it doesnt come anywhere close to winning on A-spec or B-spec. And it says the race is for 200 A-spec points. How can I win, is there a way of tuning or something??

Alright, I don't know how you have yours setup, but this is how I did it. I had the exact same problem; my speedster turbo was getting left behind. So I went to the tuneshop and installed the following: EXHAUST: Racing. BRAKES: Racing. ENGINE: I installed the Port Polish, Racing Chip, and Nitrous. TURBO: I installed level 3 turbine and the racing intercooler. TRANSMISSION: I got it the Full Customize, Triple Clutches, and the Racing flywheel. I gave it Medium Racing tires, then did all 3 weight reduction stages.

When you get to the race, it will still say 200 A specs. You should be able to outrace everyone with at least adequate driving, though. WARNING: you may have trouble at Suzuki like me. Just blast to the front of the pack at the start of the race using nitrous, don't go crazy with braking, and try to stay in front.

Make sure you have tires that have lots of grip, that improves accelleration

There's an easier way...

Drop your final gear ratio down to 4.10(Custom Transmission settings, for quick acceleration and you'll when easily.

Guest at last message that asked 'how':
1- Go into any of the races
2- Go to the red toolbox 'settings'
3- Go to 'transmission and pick the wrench just to the right which will open the gear ratios screen.

The final gear just below 7th gear can be adjusted if you have previousely purchased something such as 'full customize' option.

Take care
