How do you get more respect I have tried gangs but it doesn't go up.?

Do the mission where you have to take over the hood and after that mission it lets you take over other hoods, keep taking over different hoods and you wil get loads of respect.

To get respect you have to earn it by doing the mssions and by taking over enemy gang terriotory's and by kiiling enemy gangs, cops etc.

When you have your respect up high enough you should be able to have up to 7 people in your gang (I am able to have 7).

One way to gain respect is to steal gang territory. To steal gang territory you have to provoke a gang war. To provoke a gang war you have to make sure that the area you are standing on is either yellow for vagos or purple for balllas.

Then, kill alot of the gang members the it will say you have provoked a gang war. Next, just survive the attacking gang members. Then it will say this hood is yours. The more territory you get the more respect you will get. Or you can just complete a lot of missions.

You get more respect by a couple of things: killing rival gang members, gaining territory, but you get a lot of your respect from passing missions. The more respect you have, the more gang members you can recruit, and when you recruit them, they will follow you until you tell them not to.

You can also gain respect by surviving the police, and destroying their forces. Wearing green boosts your respect, as well as having better weapon skills and sex appeal. Even buying houses helps a little.

To get respect do every mission,complete the game ,get full los Santos in your control and voila!maximum respect.
