Question for Grand Theft Auto III

On bomb da base act 2 I fail the mission bescause the gaurds are being alerted.

I'm not even half way to the boat.

What am I doing wrong and how can I stop it from happening?

You gotta first climb up sum ladder and use the sniper rifle.

Then snipe the front guards. If you can spare sum health Rocket Launch them all to hell!

Use the Health, Armor, and Weapons cheats if you need to.

Climb the ladder up the building across from the boat. Get on the roof as close to the boat as possible. Use the sniper rifle and start from the entrance ramp and work towards the boats front. This may take a time or two if they shoot 8-Ball first, but it works.

OK, when you get out 8-ball is all like I'll head in when you fire the first shot , so you have to climb some stairs , but you can't be all walking up in the Columbian cartel's face. You have to kinda stick to the wall as you walk around it , then kill them.

Find the stairs to get to the roof of the nearby building. Use the weapons cheat a couple of times. Use the rocket Luancher to blow up the guards. MAKE SURE YOU DO NOT KILL 8-Ball. You should be able to kill them quickly. Don't get on the ship.
