When I got to the athens battleground,this gate closed on me .Theres a creature that comes back everytime I kill it.The only way out is by standing in the middle the other gate opens ,but when I run towards it closes quickly.

You have to freeze him on the switch then run as fast as you can before the door shuts again.
You have to freeze the minataur with medusa's gaze on that little switch. Then you'll have to hurry and roll through the other gate. That's the only way I've found.
