HE will use Renew either 2 or 3 times. Eventually he will not use it and you will be able to defeat him. You can cast silence or berserk on him so he will no longer summon the little bombs. You should get the Flame shields and equip them on all 3 of your characters, it will help tremendously. Dish out as much damage as possible with your 2 hardest hitting characters, and use your 3rd character for healing and casting other spells.

To take on the King Bomb you should be anywhere between level 25-35 depending on how well developed your characters are. Vann should be at a high enough level. I suggest taking Vann out of the party and leveling up 3 of your other characters, you really should just Balance out all of your characters. Doing this helps when your main party gets KO'd and you have to bring your reserved party into battle. At least that way you will know that they will be able to hold there own. You can also just use your reserve party to Revive and heal your main party, you can target characters not in the active party by hitting one of the top L or R buttons I believe.

To defeat king bomb you need to make sure you have enough handkerchiefs around to remove the oil status effect which increases the fire damage the party takes.Only attack king bomb when he is alone.the boss fully restores his hp when it reaches 50%. You can prevent this by using a well timed quickening. King bomb uses the renew several times but evetually he'll stop.

He will use Renew ALL THE TIME!!!!!! At about when he has 1/3 of his life left, before that nexty strike you deal on him, then just balst him with chains of Quickening, any rank will do.
