What level should my characters be when going through the Ozmone Plain trying to reach the Garif Village? And what three characters should I use as my main party? And with what weapons/armor should they be equipped with? Please and many thanks to those who answer.

At this point in the game you should be around lvl 15+ and as for weapons and armor just buy the strongest you can aford at this point and try to gain as much loot as possible try stealing to gain extra loot and as for armor just buy the toughest armor that ups the strength and not just hp and magic res. But this is my oppinion others may think other wise.
Your character levels should be about 15+ right now but as for armor get the best there is and if you can't afford it go through the giza plains and get as much loot s you can. Wooly gators sometimes drop braided wool which can be sold at a high price.
They should be 19-22 but once you get larsa in the garif village you should have no problem with these guys
At least level fifteen to survive, preferably twenty. I dunno about armor but if you try and keep up to date it's like buying our computers as soon as they come out. It's just not reasonable. Try using the same armor for a few dungeons. Once you get to Garif village (assuming you've been fighting a lot and have a lot of loot) you can get some new armor. I normally interchange armor between characters for maximum use but it's best if possible to outfit everyone. Like they said up there Larsa helps loads. I don't remember his level, but I suggest trying to level to his level. Also, at this point in the game going back to the Lushu Mines isn't a bad idea, and a few quests never hurt. I spent twenty minutes and leveled everyone in my party twice in just the mines alone, and I was level seventeen. So you should be able to get a helluva lot of loot plus experience, netting you that nice armor and a huge level boost. Oh, and the characters depend on your own preference. I have everyone on the same level so I'm interchangeable, but if you want a permanent party (not advisable) I'd have to say at least keep ONE ranged person or you're screwed. Preferably guns.(they ignore defense, even though they look weak in stats)
I am level 20 atm and I am not having any trouble at all so yea around 15+ although the elementals are level 25 but I am level grinding so I plane to be 25+ when I get to the town I am still in giza (the rains)
