Hey I've been trying to beat those guards in the air ship who come before rescuing the princess what is the easiest way to beat them?

Hey, this is quite a difficult battle. The battle between the two Judges and the soldiers can be quite overwhelming, but the trick to this battle is to defeat the Judges as when you do, the battle will finish. The best thing to do is to have your character you are using sit in the back and heal your party while everyone else targets one of the judges. Above all things, keep Vossler alive! He is the strongest member of your party right now so he does the most amount of damage. Another thing, you should by now have a lot stronger weapons and magicks then you originally started with. If you have not been levelling up properly along the way or you still have the original equipment you started with, restart your game. You will not be able to defeat the incoming boss coming up later on so there's no point to beat these guys now. Make sure you have a lot of Potions and Ethers ready to help with Cure and for quick health boosts. Use your magicks to help your teammates or to hurt the bad guys. And the most important thing is to keep fighting. All my characters were down except Balthier and Vossler. There was still a judge and two soldiers left and after he died, I eventually won. It's a hard fight but you can do it

Before rescuing the princess? Run! Run and erm run. Thats what I did. I did try fighting my way through, but meh theres so many of them so I just ran.

One tip for the up and coming boss battle...Beserk > Vossler and watch him go!!!!
