Okay, here's the order.

1:Black Sigil
2:Green Sigil
3:Red Sigil
4:This one's tricky: You must use the Sigil of Sacrifice, but all four sigils are here. What did you sacrifice on the Second Ascent? Touch the sigil that corresponds with the sigil you touched on the Second Ascent. So, if you sacrificed items(wealth), touch the yellow sigil. If you sacrificed attacking(Steel), touch the green one. And so on. 5:This one's even more tricky, but you shouldn't need to touch any sigil on the 88th Floor. Instead, head into the tunnel that leads north, and on the left side, you will find the "Fool's Facade". Strike it with your leader's weapon to reveal the way up. 6: Follow the final floor until you reach a way stone. Touch the way stone, and get ready to fight.

Hydros LV ?? HP: ???? (~204,000)

Attacks: Lunge, Curse, Fearga, Bile, Sonic Fangs, Countdown,
Bio, Darkra
Notes: -

First of all, have one leader character cast Slow, while the
others use Shear and Expose to weaken the boss' defenses.

The boss does not have much defense (pretty similar to the
Skulwyrm that you have fought in Zertinan Caverns). It got a
couple of deadly attacks:

o Bile - non-elemental damage to one character + Sap
o Curse - Inflict Confuse, Poison, Sap & Disease on 1
character
o Fearga - Reduces MP of all characters in range
o Countdown - Inflict Doom on one character
o Sonic Fangs - Non-elemental damage + Slow

First of all, make sure you remove Confuse from Reddas if he
got infected otherwise he will cause harm to your party. The
boss' Bile can cause Sap, which cause the gambits to activate
regen. Curse is the most deadly skill from the boss' attacks
which inflict a series of nasty statuses. Use a Vaccine to cure
the Disease caused by it. In Disease status, your character will
not be able to heal and they will died once it wears off... Once
the boss' HP is depleted into half, it will start to use Fearga.
Start to charge up your MP with Charge Technick. Once the boss'
HP is critical, it start to use Darkra as it's offense. With the
Demon Shields and Black Mask, you will be able to absorb its
Dark-elemental attacks. Just keep up the endurance and the boss
will go down sooner or later...

You will find a Gate Crystal here, along with 2 Carven Pillars. Examine

disabled. Take the stairway north from the Way Stone.

First Ascent - Wellspring Labyrinth [01F]

Enemies: Chimera Brain, Mimeo, Mistmare
-----------------------------------------------------------------------
You will find a new enemy, Chimera Brain, a stronger version of the
Cockatrice class. Defeat them and you will see blue orbs dropped from.
Examine it and you will get a Black Orb. Black Orbs are items that you
will need in this dungeon. Beware Chimera Brain's stone gaze, cure it
with Stona/Gold Needle.

At the west end of the area, you will find a white chest, examine it
will turn out to be a Mimeo. At the east end, you will start to fight
Mistmare, which is weak against. Having the Holy Lance and Gungnir
works well in this area. When you fight a Mimeo, beware of it's Leech
as it deal around 1500+ to one character. Keep your HP above 2000 at
all times with Protect, Shell and Float on. Take this opportunity to
test your party's strength. If you have difficulty, I suggest to go
back to previous dungeons and give your characters training. It is
highly advisible to have 3 character with all abilities acquired as
the battle will going to get tougher.

In the northwest region of this area, you will find another cavaran
pillar. Examine it for some information. Move along the exterior
walkway.

The urn is located at the southwest end of the area, which you can
access it moving along the exterior walkway. Press SELECT to activate
the map if you got stuck. Once you collect the map, make sure you have
collect at least 3 Black Orbs. Now go back to the area where the Gate
Crystal is. From there, head southeast from there, you will find a
structure called "Altar of Night". Examine it and pick the 2nd option
to use the Black Orb. You will break the seal.

The 2nd Altar of Night is accessible via the north SE exit of the area.
The last Altar of Night can be access via the south SE exit of the
area. Once you have activate all 3 altars, examine the map and you will
find ! Icon on it. Make your there and it will lead you to a door called
"Threshold of Night", which will only be accessible until you broke
the 3 seals. Examine it. Pick the 2nd option.

First of all, have one leader character cast Dispel, while the

Now start to wreck the tortoise. The boss has common tortoise
skills. Once it uses Flash, which causes Blind on all characters,
have the characters use Eye Drops or cure all with Esunaga.

When it's HP fall to 50%, it uses Perfect Defense skill, it will
be immune to physical attacks (with Pailing) and magicks (with
Magick Shield). Seize the time to heal up and recast your
positive statuses such as Bravery and Faith. Wait for around 4
minutes for the effects to wear off. Resume your attacks once it
happens. Power Spin can cause Slow, so cast Haste to remove it.

Examine the 2 Ancient Doors here. More Chimera Brains will encountered
here. From the exit, head towards northwest end of the area. There is
"Fool's Facade" wall. Examine it and pick top option to strike it
down. It will reveal a random chest or nothing.

At the walkway between the west platform and north platform, you will
find Brainpans. Use Oil-Firaga combo on them as they can inflict a lot
of nasty level 3 spells (Waterga, Aeroga, etc). Upon defeating them, it
will uncover a green magick walkway. Make sure you check the status of
it, before use the combo as they sometimes come with Reflect. At the
edges of the area, you will find an Aeronite flying around. Use
Telekinesis if your characters are using melee weapons and Thundaga to
jolt it down. BTW, as you move up the stairs, the floor number will
increase....

In the south platform, you will need to defeat the Brainpan found at
the northeast corner. At the 15F, at the southeast end of this area,
you will find another Carven Pillar. Examine it. The exit is in
northeast region.

Wellspring Ravel - 2nd Flight [17F to 26F]

Enemies: Chimera Brain, Brainpan, Aeronite
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Cure your characters if they got infected by Chimera Brain's Stone
Gaze. At the 20F in the northeast corner of the area, you will find
another Carven Pillar. Examine it. Move to the compartment southwest
from the Carven Pillar. You will fight another Brainpan. Examine the
walls facing north for another Fool's Facade and it will reveal a
hidden area where you can find a random chest.

Once the floor reaches 23F, examine the wall facing south. It will
reveal the "Fool's Facade" marker. Examine it and pick the top option
to strike it down. It will reveal a hidden walkway that links to the
"Fool's Facade" found on the 24F. At the northwest corner, there are
3 Brainpan. Dispel their Reflects and use Oil-Firaga combo to finish
them off fast. Upon defeating all 3, it will reveal the hidden walkway
leading towards south. Cross it and fight the Chimera Brains. Ignore
the chest on the other platform for the time being.

On the 26F, you will fight another Aeronite. Proceed on the next
floor.

Wellspring Ravel - 3rd Flight [27F to 35F]
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Enemies: Chimera Brain, Brainpan, Aeronite, Deidar
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Move up the stairs and you will fight 2 Brainpans on 29F. On 30F, there
is another Ancient Door with a red marking. Examine it and it will
lead to 2 compartments where you fight 2 more Brainpans. Make a U-turn
and go northwards to the pathway in the middle. At the end (31F), you
will find another "Fool's Facade" wall. Examine it to strike it down.
Grab the contents of the chest. Return back to the southeast end and
you fight a new Facer enemy - Deidar. To differentiate a Deidar and
Brainpan is by examining the flames above the Facer itself. Defeat it
and go cross the doorway and you will fight 2 more Brainpan located
behind the doorway. Defeat them to reveal the path to the central
platform.

Cross the pathway and fight the Chimera Brains on the other side. Move
up the stairs and you will fight another Deiadar and Brainpan at the
32F. At the 35F, you will find a platform which cannot be accessed.
Ignore it for the time being. Exit to the next area.

Wellspring Ravel - 4th Flight [36F to 48F]
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Enemies: Chimera Brain, Brainpan, Aeronite, Deidar
----------------------------------------------------------------------
You will fight 2 more Brainpans and a Deidar at the end. Move up the
stairs and defeat the Chimera Brains. At the 38F, you will fight 2
more Deidars along with another Brainpan. Continue to move up the
stairs. At 40F, you can fight more Deidars and Brainpan inside the
large area in the east of this section.

Continue to advance up the area till you reach the west area. You
will fight an Aeronite at 42F. Once you reach the west area, go inside
in the area found in the middle. Defeat all the Brainpan and Deidar
there to reveal the magick pathway. In southeast area in that area,
there is another Fool's Facade. Examine it and you will find an area
containing another chest. Move your way and go all the way up till you
reach the 48F. At the 48F, the Deidar-like creature that appears with
the Aeronite is actually Vishno, a rare game. So watch out for it.

The exit is located at the southwest end.

Second Ascent - The Reach [60F]

From Way Stone [WS], there are 2 pillars in front of you. Examine & pay
attention to words mentiond the pillar on the right. Now move left from
the left pillar, ignore the altars for the time being & make your way
to the Save Crystal [SC].

_______________
|A ________ D| Altars Sealed Ability
SC / | A Altar of Steel Attack Command
| | * WS B Altar of Magicks Magick Command
| ________/ | C Altar of Knowledge Mini-Map (Radar)
|B_____________C| D Altar of Wealth Item Command

A sensible person will choose the Mini-Map since you have managed to
survived non-random map dungeons such as Draklor Laboratories and the
Quicksands in Zertinan Caverns. Choose the Altar of Knowledge which is
located southeast region of area. Pick the 2nd option to touch the
altar. Now the radar will be gone but you can still access the World
Map. (press SELECT to check your bearings)

Examine the door called "Threshold of Knowledge". Remember the triangular
pathway in the Horizon's Break? It is the same structure. Just exit. By
the way, for those who are interested all the walkways lead to the same
area.

Station of Banishment [61F]
-----------------------------------------------------------------------
Enemies: Crusader, Bune, Abaddon
-----------------------------------------------------------------------
You will fight mainly Crusaders and a Bune here. Bunes are Headless
monster and they are very deadly due to Tri-Attack and Pulsar Wave. So
finish them off fast. You can use Death spells and the Deathbringer
rocks for these battles. You will encounter Abaddon along the circular
pathway in the middle. The exits are located the southwest and northeast
region. To differentiate an exit is relatively simple:
___
If you saw a strip like | | If you saw an ending
________ this one, it will lead | | | path that ends like this,
|________ to one of the doors in |_| | this is an exit as it
61F means it is a stair!

So go either one of the exits to proceed to next area. The crusaders
can cast Slowga, so you need to recast Haste to remove it. Cast Float
to avoid it's Tremor attack and Demon Shields to absorbs it's Darkra.

Exit via the northeast or southwest path. They lead to a stairs. Examine
the ancient door to proceed

Station of Suffering [62F]
------------------------------------------------------------------------
Enemies: Crusader, Reaver, Abaddon, Dragon Lich, Bune
------------------------------------------------------------------------
As the name suggests, it will add more suffering for you. You will
encounter a new enemy - Reaver, toss Oil and add Firaga for a quick
kill. Make sure Protect, Shell, Libra and Float is on at all times.

In the circular pathway, you will fight main Abaddon and Dragon Lich
here. Use Oil-Firaga combo and you will be able to wipe them out without
much difficulty. Dragon Lich are skeleton dragons.

In the northern region of the area, you will find more Bunes. Toss
Blizzaga at them as they absorbs Firaga (thus Oil-Firaga combo does not
work) Make sure, you kill them fast and if someone got infected by
Disable cast Esuna to remove it. Counter Slow with Haste. Traps are
found along the long walkways at the north-end of the region. At the
northwestern end of area, you will find the urn containing the map of
this section. But you need go through the extreme north walkway because
the door leading south is sealed. The exit is the southeast area.

Go up the stairs and examine the ancient door to proceed to the next
area

Station of Ascension [63F]
------------------------------------------------------------------------
Enemies: Crusader, Reaver, Zombie Warlock, Bune, Abaddon, Necrofriend
------------------------------------------------------------------------
The dungeon gets tougher and you fight more stronger enemies. Bune and
Reavers roams a lot in the southern region and fortunately they don't
flock together otherwise the Oil-Firaga combo won't work well. You will
also fight Abaddon and Reavers in the circular path. Beware of Abaddon's
Aqua Bubbles as it may cause Sap. Counter it with Regen if that
happens. In the northern region, you will encounter Zombie Warlocks (
the zombies that you have encounter in Necrohol of Nabudis) and
Necrofriend (ghost type monsters but they are immune against the Phoenix
Down kill method). The exit of the area is located at the northwest
region and you access it by going the northend most pathway and fight
the Bunes nearby. South from the staircase, there is a "Fool's Facade"
where you can knock it down for an opening which will lead you to
fight a Necrofriend. So you have to fight the Bunes guarding the
entrance. Freeze them with Blizzaga.

Exit via the stairs in the northwest region.

Reach of The Damned [64F]
--------------------------
You have reach an area similar to the one that you have found in the
First Ascent. There is a Carven Pillar located at the northwest end of
the area, make sure you examine it. The Save Crystal is located at the
south from the entrance way. Save your game.

Now head southwards and you will find a triangle shaped area. The exit
is there.

Cast Protectga, Shellga, Bravery, Faith, Bubble, Regen on all your
participating characters. Equip Rose Coresage on one of your characters
and Hermes Sandals for the other characters. Now examine the door and
pick the 2nd option

Spire Ravel - 1st Flight [80F-83F]
-----------------------------------------------------------------------
Enemies: Purobolos, Dead Bones, Zombie Warlock, Necrofriend, Cataract
Aevis, Aeronite
-----------------------------------------------------------------------
In this area, you will fight Purobolos (bomb creature). Finish them off
fast before they uses Mass-Destruct. Before examining any of the objects
in this area, please read the following:

A//B/ A Green Sigil D Black Sigil
/ / B Red Sigil C Sigil of Sacrifice
D * C/ * Carven Pillar WS Way Stone
PA Punishment Area
PA -- WS

Read the Carven Pillar and it will say something about punishment for
taking the wrong path. At the edge of the area, you will find 4 coloured
way stones. If you touch the wrong path twice, you will get your
punishment. Below is the summary of the punishment. o------------------------------------------------------------o
| Punishment at the 79F |
| You will fight Zombie Warlocks, Dead Bones and Necrofriend |
| & you won't get pass the area only after you have defeated |
| a certain amount of monsters there. However, there is a |
| small reward for doing this. You will get to access the |
| urn, which contains the map for the area. However, I won't |
| recommend you to do this you are running low on items. |
| |
| For those who are interested, set up the following gambits |
| o Ally: any -> Phoenix Down |
| o Ally: status = HP Critical -> X-Potion |
| o Ally: HP X-Potion |
| o Ally: status = Confuse -> Remedy/Smelling Salts |
| o Ally: status = Sap -> Remedy |
| o Ally: status = Disease -> Vaccine |
| |
| Equip Mirror Mails (hope you have saved them and equip on |
| the 3 punished characters) Cast Reflect on Reddas to give |
| him some "mirror" protection. Now once you reach them, |
| attack normally. The gambit will take care of most of the |
| statuses. Once you got the message that says "magicks |
| binding the door fade away". The area will allow you to |
| pass through the monsters will stop spawning. Get the urn |
| for your map. Examine the door and get your way back to |
| 80F and the Purobolos will respawn... Use Blizzaga. |
o------------------------------------------------------------o

But there is an easier way... Interested? Read on... Smile

Hence to do the CORRECT way, choose the Way Stone - Black Sigil (marked
"D" on the map). You will reach the southeast platform.

More Purobolos will appear along the walkways. Freeze them with Blizzaga
Before they uses "Mass-Destruct". In the large area in the southeast
Region, you will fight a Cataract Aevis. Strike it down with Thundaga.
At the southeast ends of the area, there are 2 pathways and there is a
Fool's Facade on each side. Strike the fake wall door. Cast Float and
Libra before you move towards the Way Stone -Green Sigil. [82F]

Examine it and it will lead you to a hidden area [83F] in the northeast
Region. Beware of the traps here. There is a random chest in the middle
If the trap. If it is there, examine it and you will get some Gil or
Rubber Suit. At the end of Y-shaped junction, there are 2 Fool's Facade
Wall in succession. Knock them down and you will reach the area where you
Find more coloured way stones with an Aeronite there. Examine the Red
Sigil.

Spire Ravel - 2nd Flight [84F-89F]
-----------------------------------------------------------------------
Enemies: Aeronite, Purobolos, Cataract Aevis
-----------------------------------------------------------------------
At the 84F, you will have fight 2 Aeronites. Unleash Thundaga and they
are hovering around a chest containing a Circlet. Grab it.
__
|* | * Circlet chest
__| |__ A Blue
|A B| B Purple
| | C White
|C______D| D Yellow

Examine the purple "Sigil of Sacrifice" way stone, which will reflect
as the Altar of Knowledge. Examine it and pick the top option. You
will be teleported to the northwest area. In front, lies a Carven Pillar.
Move up the stairs and you will fight more Purobolos. In southwest
section of the region, you will fight 2 Cataract Aevis. Strike them
down with Thundaga. Do not examine any of the Way Stones there. Head
towards dead end at the northwest region. There is a Fool's Facade in
the northwest of the area. Go pass the hidden walkway, there is a white
Way Stone. Examine it. You will reach 88F. In front of you is the
elevator. Examine the white way stone at the southwest region. Examine
it and you will get teleported to 79F and you won't fight any enemies
here... Grab the map from the urn behind the ancient door. Return back
to the teleportation spot and use the Way Stone in the northwest
region. Examine it to get back 88F.

Now set up the following Gambits:
o Ally: any -> Phoenix Down
o Ally: status = HP Critical -> X-Potion
o Ally: HP Curaja
o Ally: status = Disease -> Vaccine

Cast Protectga, Shellga, Bravery, Faith, Bubble, Regen and Haste on
all members. Now examine the Dais of Ascendance and pick 90F. There
will be some scenes and you will fight an Esper.
________________________________________________________________
Hashmal LV ?? HP: ???? (~210,000)
________________________________________________________________
Attacks: Quakeja, Magick Shield, Roxxor, Battle Cry
Notes: Protect

Have the leader cast Float, the 2nd character use Dispel on the
boss and 3rd character use Expose.

The boss' normal attacks could inflict damage and sometimes
inflict Disease. Make sure you cure it with Cleanse, Remedy or
Vaccine.

With Float on, Roxoor and Quakeja will do nothing on your party,
make this fight rather easy. When Hashmal uses Battle Cry, it
will boost it's attack and combo rate. As it is an earth-elemental
boss, use Aeroga and equip wind-elemental weapons such as Zwill
Crossblades helps a lot in this fight. It will use a Magick
Shield and Quakeja when it's HP is critical. Do not use Quickening
if it uses the Magick Shield as you do no damage to it.

Steal: Hi-Ether, Leo Gem
LP: 52
________________________________________________________________

After the battle is over, Hashmal, Bringer of Order will be available
on the license boad. Eventually, you will end up at...

Empyrean Ravel
----------------
Move up the stairs to 92F. There will be more scenes. Once the scenes
are over, continue to 98F and there is a Save Crystal

Now set up the following Gambits:
o Ally: any -> Phoenix Down
o Ally: status = HP Critical -> X-Potion
o Ally: HP Curaja
o Ally: status = Silence -> Echo Herbs

Cast Protectga, Shellga, Bravery, Faith, Bubble, Regen and Haste on
all members. Make your way towards the way stone at the end.

There will be some scenes and you will fight...
________________________________________________________________
Gabranth LV ?? HP: ???? (~65,000)
________________________________________________________________
Attacks: Protect, Sentence, Lunge, Circle of Judgment, Magick
Shield, Guilt
Notes: Protect

First of all, dispel off his Protect and use Shear and Expose
on him. Just keep on attacking him. Once his HP gets to 50%,
he will use the Magick Shield, which will cause him to immune
to Magicks attack. Keep on attacking. Converse your MP for the
upcoming fight. His Circle of Judgement deals damage to all
allies and he will start to keep on using Guilt (which deals
serious damage to one character for the remaining battle). Keep
on attacking and the battle will be over...

Steal: Potion, Hi-Potion, X-Potion
LP: 36
________________________________________________________________

Some more scenes will happen and Cid appears... You have to fight the
Doctor from Archades.
________________________________________________________________
Doctor Cid LV ?? HP: ???? (~83,000)
Famfrit LV ?? HP: ???? (150,000)
________________________________________________________________
Attacks:
Doctor Cid: Gatling Gun, Paling, Magick Shield, Shell, Protect,
Haste, S-85 Cyclotrone
Famfrit: Attack, Briny Cannonade, Waterja, Shell

Notes: Protect, Shell, Haste (Cid)
Famfrit - Protect, Shell

Dispel off Cid's positive statuses and use Expose & Shear to
weaken his defenses.

You will start off to fight Doctor Cid along. Just keep on
attack him as you will fight normally. Once his HP reach 50%,
he summons Esper Famfrit, forms Paling and Magick Shield,
causing him to be immune unless you defeat the water-elemental
Esper. Cid will regain his previously dispelled positive status
and will be immune against Dispel as well.

Famfrit has 2 basic attacks - a normal hammer attack which can
causes Silence (heal with Echo Herbs if that happens). Once its
HP starts to get low, it will use Waterja. Switch your body
equipment to Viking Coats to absorb the attack. Note that Cid
can cast positive status on Famfrit, dispel that if that happens.
Use Expose and Shear on Famfrit. Once your Bubble wears off,
recast again and cast Bravery to attack Famfrit. Having fire-
elemental weapon such as the Gungnir works well against the
Esper. Defeat Famfrit and it will remove the invincibility from
Cid.

With his positive status gone, cast Dispel and use Expose on him
again. Now just keep on attacking and keep your HP above 3000
and you will be fine. S-85 Cyclotrone deals around 1200+ to all
allies. So heal if your HP runs low.

Steal: Hi-Potion (Cid), Aquarius Gem (Famfrit)
LP: 88
________________________________________________________________

There will be some scenes and Famfrit, the Darkening Cloud will be
Available on the License Board. This is followed by some more dramatic
Scenes... Reddas will leave your party. At the end of the scenes, you
Will be given an option to save your game. Choose to do so.
