How to beat Exodos

How to beat Exodos

I'm with a little trouble on beating Exodos...
My characters are at minimum in level 44 (first of all: is that enough to beat him?), and it actually goes quite OK until the part Exodos becomes "immune" to physical attack. How do I beat him in that time? How do I disable "reflect"?
Is there any way of avoiding his strongest attack?
Thank you for your help, again!!
You last tip about Giruvegan just helped me a lot!!

Yes level 44 is high enough to beat Exodus, when he puts up the barrier to make himself immune to physical attacks you need to use magic to beat him. To disable reflect just cast dispel to remove it but you should not do that against him because he will counter it with flare and scathe. It's best if you keep one of your characters at a distance using a ranged weapon because Exodus with start using scathe the most powerful black magic after it puts up the barrier making it immune to physical attacks and that character at long range should avoid being hit and you can use them for healing and have haste, shell, protect and bubble on your characters. To use magic on Exodus without removing it's reflect just cast reflect on your own characters and reflect magic back at him. Glad I could help and I hope this answer helps too.

When he becomes immune to your pysical attacks he becomes immune to "ALL" attacks (even your quickenings). This barrier lasts for around 2 minutes so it's best to just keep some positive status on your characters & survivng untill his barriers dissapears & you can finish him off.

Hope I helped

Easiest strategy of all. Have 3 people with ranged weapons. Outside cast an esper than enter the fight. For some reason when you enter the fight with an esper, Exodus is frozen and can't move. Sit back and shoot him to death (I did it with my guys lvl 28). He will still cast the occasional flare or scathe because his movement is frozen, but he can still attack (if you get too close he will hit you). Because of scathe try and keep your guys apart, and when someone dies just raise them back up (no need to cure). When I did this he did not use his phys shield, but maybe I was lucky. If he does cast Zeromus from afar (so he doesnt get attacked), start hitting Zeromus down to low hp then cast bubble and let him finish Exodus off.
