What is the BEST long-ranged weapon?

 I wanna now what is the best long-ranged weapon in the game ?
 Exemple: Guns & Bows.
 
 I prefer GUNS.

Well they are both just as good as each other but guns are slower than bows so I prefer to use bows. It also depends on what type of ammo you use the better the ammo the more damage either the bow or the gun will do. The Gun is the Fomalhaut and the best bow is the Sagittarius.

The best gun is the fomalhaut, the best bow is the sagitarios bow which you get in the bazzaar... I also think the artemis bow is very, very good to.

The best gun by far is the fomalhaut and the best bow the sagittarius

Most people will tell you that bows are better because they as faster but for me the fomalhaut is better. Guns are piercing so they ignore the defence of the enemy. You find me a bow that can hit between 3,000 and 4,000 and with elemental bullets between 6,000 and 9999. (and only be attack 50!!)I bet you that you cannot! Believe me if you want a long range weapon go with the gun!

Fomalhaut is no doubt the best gun in the game,i'm not so sure about the bow since I don't use them

To be honest, they're all just as good as the others, just in different ways depending on your fighting style. Bows and crossbows may show a higher attack, but they do about as much damage as the equivilent level rifel. Bows are affected by streingth and weather, whle rifels have a MUCH HIGER critical hit ratio and completely ignore defence. All in all, bows and rifels are just as good as the other, it just depends on which advantages you like more. Crossbows and hand bombs may not be much more or less powerful, but if you look through all of the incindeary and bolt ammunition, then you'll notice that there mostly good for placing harmefull status effects on the enemy (such as sap, oil slow, Ko, ect.) To be honest, I usually just let Fran stick with bows and crossbows while i give rifels and hand bombs to Balthir.

Just collet as much loot as you can and sell it t the Baazar forrare, high powered ammunition because the onion ammo sucks, making an of the ranged weapons crap.

the best range weapons is saguitarus,formahult,and the volcano which can do 3000dm or above depends on characters atk power and levael

Fomalhaut is ABSOLUTELY the best.
Though when you encounter Ghosts and Fiends it'd be good to change for bow, or not ranged wep at all, then you can change for Melee.
