What is the BEST one-handed SWORD

Durandal is the most powerful one-handed sword with and attack power of 99 and evasion of 5...actually 5 is the evasion of all one-handed sword...But great swords are more powerful only they're two-handed...the only one-handed weapon that has more power are axes...The most powerful is golden axe...with attack power of 110 but it only chances from 400 to 6000 depending on your strength...

The best one handed sword is the Durandal and the only way to get this is in the bazaar to unlock this in the bazaar you need to sell 3x lifewick, 2x emperor scale and 1x leshach halcyon.
Necrofiends in the great crytal in the secret area of the Henne Mines will drop lifewicks.
Archaeoaevis in the Zertinan Caverns will drop the emperor scales.
The Leshach Entite in the Paramina rift will drop the Leshach Halcyon.

The highest dps one handed sword in the original final fantasy 12 is the stone sword because it only has 4 less attack points but it has double the combo rate. That being said in random battles against weaker monsters the durandal is better due to it's consistency and not relying on high damage spikes. The durandal has a 99 power and a 5 combo rate(which is actually 3.5 in practice). The stone blade has 95 power but has a 10 combo rate(which is 7 in practice). The strongest one handed weapon(it is a dagger though) is the danjuro. The danjuro is obnoxious to get though. The scorpion tail(which is a hammer) is second though it is wildly inconsistent due to it’s randomized damage. I’m not sure if the golden axe is above or below the swords though but it also suffers from inconsistency. So whatever choice you make has pros and cons but the stone blade and durandal are pretty much tied and are very consistent. So it’s more about which one you think looks cooler.
