I am currently at the Zertinan Caverns and I want to kill that boss that has a lot of sand/dirt around him and flies. The thing is I can only hit him with one of my chatacters (Fran because she has a bow). So any tips on who he is and how I can defeat him. My real purpose there is to kill a rank V mark.

<BR>Other Q is I'm searching for Orthros in the Garamscthye Waterway and I can't find him anywhere. I 've searched the whole place including the secret areas and I can't find him. I do have the Sluice key.

The Zertinan Caverns, I hated that place. Well, watch out for monsters, and don't get killed there. The monster you are talking about is one of my favorite Espers called Adrammelech the wroth. The reason that only Fran can hit him is because Adrammelech is a Flying monster(obvious I know). To defeat him, just get some Bomb, or bows, or weapons that will hit flying opponents. Try not to use guns though, they are very, very, weak, and you can hardly ever find new ones to buy. So if you can, stay away from guns entirely, they aren't that good. All you have to do to kill Adrammelech is Attack him with bows, or magic, keep your buff spells up, and heal regularly. Buff spells are the spells that make your characters stronger, or protect you. Some buff spells are Haste, Protect, Shell, Bubble, etc. Make sure you keep your buff spells up because they will help a lot. Also, watch out for the zombies that will appear out of the ground, they are easy to kill, but can be a nuisance, so watch out. Keep doing that, and you will win, if you need to lower his health, and then use your quickening.


I do not know, maybe around level 30 or so, you can look it up in the guide if you want to buy one, or get a few peeks from a store that still sells them. Orthros is in the huge southern area of the waterway, but he will only appear when you have all the females in your party out. After he drops down, switch back to your regular characters, and kill him.


You should level up more, and level up everyone, you will need to. Your welcome.

Thats Adrammelech the thunder esper. He is a flying type esper so he can only be hit with ranged weapons so it's best if you equip all your characters with ranged weapons for this battle. He can be inflicted with the statuses slow and blind so that should make the battle a lot easier. Have the protective buffs protect, shell, haste, bubble and faith on all your characters. Adrammelech is weak against ice so use blizzaga against him. Have the power armlet for a least one of your characters because adrammelech's thundaja causes stop. The mark you are talking about must be marilith you will find it in the invitation to herasy. Go to the middle area where there will be two frog type monsters kill them exit the area and re-enter and it will appear fom the grass in the corner. The orthros mark will only appear when Ashe, Fran and Penelo are in your party in the southern sluiceway.

OK flying dude is the esper adrmmelech.. Hes a really good esper to have he usese alot of thunder and the zombies are really annoying he tends to be a lil bit tought and I had probs with him myself.. In the zateran caverends there is a save spot.. Save if you want then right before you go back to where he is put all your potective buffs on protect shell haste regen etc.. Don't use reflect because it makes it way harder to heal.. Go in and take out zombies till he flysover have one person dispell him (if he has any protectivs on) one charecter blind em and one person slow em.. I sugust 2 charecters have the assory for anti sap and 1 with anti stop.. After you slow and blind em start casting bizaga or you're highest ice spell on I'm with 2 of you're chareters and have your other charecter be a healer.. (with you're higest lvl ice spells you can take out zombies at the same time you're lowering his health) when hes almost to half life like right before half.. Bring out an esper.. Have your esper attack while you heal (cura curaja) bring em out befor half becasuse adrammelech usese a special attak that hits hard if your not ready.. Around half of his life.. After the specail and you're esper goes away he will be amune to all damage.. Heal and re- buff on your protctive spells just keep you're self alive with healing untill it sais that his imutity is gone then just blast him with your highst lvl ice spells (ones that will kill zombies at same time) untill hes dead.. Some people will say use quicking when hes imune to dammage.. DONT... It will not hit and ull just waste all of you're well needed MP... I tryed beating him in my lvl 45's but couldnt do it I had to beat him at lvl 50... Hope this helps.. -dozer-

If your good at quickeneings like me get a 10-25 chain of quickenings on both party of three characters and he sould be easily dead by then
