From my experience I found Othros (the other flan) a more easier fight than the White Mousse. The good think to remember is that they are similar in some respects. The Mousse is weak to fire. So if you have the flametounge sword or any weapon with fire elemental power equipped it. He uses a lot of water spells so reflect is useful and equipping with argyle amulets too as he uses flash too which blinds. If you cast beserk on him he can't use magic. I found him difficult the first time round but it's worth it and neccessary for later in the game. There are more or less 45 hunts in the game (including the elite marks but not the secret espers) Good luck

There are 45 hunts in total. No the White Mousse isn't really difficult it's easy to beat just put the usual protective buffs on your characters. To make the fight even easier cast Sleep on it and then use Fira or Firaga on it because it's weak against fire.

I can't remember just how many hunt there are in the waterway(i think 2to3) but that white m. It's all that hard, I think I was 35 lv.+ just keep attaching and healing when you need to. To find him, he is in the bottom of the map in the centre of the map(were you fought the three goo things) but to bring this monster out you have to have fran, penelo, and ashe out(only until the white M. Comes out then you can switch to your powerfulest members.

No, it's fairly easy. Make sure you've accepted the hunt first...

I don't know, over 50 probably.

He's lv. 15, But he is HARD. I was around lv. 45 with almost all liscenses unlocked. Dont risk it until you have all magic and very good weapons.
