Level up all 6 of your characters. You need backup in case your first 3 characters die

Okay first breif is spelled brief. I before E except after C.

You need to get Vaan, Ashe, and Basch to 45, and everyone else to higher levels.(you'll need to for later stages.) Make sure your people are at full health, and least one or two people have a quickenings. Also, make sure you have all the power ups from the License menu such as HP + 500, etc.

Before you go into battle, cast all the buff spells that you can such as Protect, shell, haste, etc. During the battle cast dispel on the mandragoras, and only focus on one at a time. Focus all your attention on that mandragora until you kill it. If you run to one side of the stage, then you might split up the group, and only have 1 or two mandragoras attacking you, instead of all 5.

Should be pretty easy now, just keep attacking, casting your buff spells, and healing when necessary.

These guys can be really annoying since they use so many status attacks. Well you should be around lvl 40 because after you are finished beating them you will have to fight another boss thats a little more difficult. The Mandragora's like to use a lot of status attacks so make sure you have plenty of Remedies. You should have Protect, Shell especially Shell because this will reduce your chance of being inflicted by their status attacks and Haste on all your characters and have a gambit set up for healing. It would help if you had an accessory to protect against a status effect on the characters you are using. After your setup right it's pretty easy to beat them just keep attacking and using the most powerful magicks you have at this point. Having at least one character with a ranged weapon will help too.

If you want, the easiest way beat them or to take down most of their HP is to use a Quickening straight away before they split up.

To beat the nasty bouncing billy bobs I had balthier fran and penelo in cos they were the weekest at 38 each

When the battle starts have your characters spead out I had penelo as a "tank" balthier backing her up and fran for magic so first they split then go for attack so the best thing to do is run to one group and use a quickening with YOUR PARTY LEADER ONLY then after that do the same with another group with a DIFFENENT party leader then so the same and finnaly use the last person do exactly the same and then kill of the survivors which may be in a group then finally bring in your strongest party and heal your subs but keep your team healthy for the other boss

There are a lo steps to defeat those mandragoras.Step 1.Get a lot of money.(Kill those wolves in the phone coast and get the prime pelt.If you exchange it for money you can get quite a lot of money.)Step 2.Go to the Mosphoran Highwaste.Step 3.Go to the place where there are shrines.Step 4.Talk to the guy thats selling stuff and buy the daimond armor.6.Go back to the phoan coast.Step 5.Go and talk to the vendor.Step 6.Buy the strongest head armor,weapons(make sure the strongest weapon you bought is a 1 hand weapon) and shields.If you don't have enough money, sell the lots you got along the way.(I don't want to use the strongest armour in phoan coast cause it has reflect)
