Question for Final Fantasy X

How are you supposed to beat the Crawler (Negator).

I've tryed everything. It is really hard. Could someone help me!!! P.S. How do you like my name.

I have two answers for the How to beat Crawler/Negator question:

Kill the Negator using Wakka....once it's down have Lulu use Thunder or Thundara over and over on Crawler. When it's time for the Mana beam, haev an Aeon summoned and let it take the hit from Mana Beam. Keep using physical attacks and magic on Crawler..since its vulnerable to Thunder...you might want to use Ixion and have him use Thundara and stuff.

Once the Negator comes back, DO NOT kill it! POUND THE HELL out of Crawler...when Negator is up, it can't use Mana Beam! (Aint that nifty?) It does take a while but it works! The only problem would be the Gatling Gun attack...with Negator up, all Crawler can do is use Gatling gun and Assault, which can be a bitch if you don't have enough supplies or HP.

If all else fails, don't immediatly go to Crawler after you load the game, run around in circles in front of the Travel Agency and fight a bunch of fiends, you should get alot of Sphere levels and Spheres, (depending on how much time and effort you use to fight fiends) and after every fiend fight, go back inside save, and fight more.

Once you haev tons of levels and spheres, then just fill up your Sphere grid, you shoudl get more HP and strength and such which will take off alot of the difficulty in fighting Crawler/Negator. {The one bad thign about this is that you may have to skip ability's and come back later for them...these fiends dont give ability shperes, only speed, power and mana spheres.} hope that helps a bit =)
