It is the road before you fight the boss at Mi'ihen.

When you get to the end of the Mihen Highroad, go through the large archway next to where the crates are. You will then be at this place where there is a split in the road you can either go straight or to the left. Go to the left and you will be walking on the Mushroom Rock Road my friend!

Go to the inn at "Mihen Highroad". If you select Mihen Highroad from your airship, this is where you will be. Exit the building and talk to the person to the left in order to ride a chocobo (in the menu this area is displayed merely as "Highroad"). Go forward and you will reach the area where you first talked to Seymour. Continue going straight and you enter a new area called "Mushroom Rock". Mushroom Rock is the start of Mushroom Rock Road. Take the first left and you will be at "Mushroom Rock - valley". If you are looking for the Jecht Sphere, it is located all the way at the end to the area beyond the last lift (do not take the lift until getting it). Also note that the Jecht Sphere will not be here until after you have defeated the Sephimorph and acquired the first Jecht Sphere.
