I keep beating Evrae but then I lose to the guards at Bevelle... I don..

Just use someone who can be strong (Tidus or Auron) someone to use healing items that is fast (Rikku or Wakka) and a middle man, strong but can heal too (Kimarhi). Don't get upset 'cause ya don't have any speed spells. You won't need them.

They are actually a waste of time. I had a hard time with Evrae with speed spells. You can also use Lulu if your magic power is good. Tidus is first to learn any speed spells depending on the directions on the grid you went.

When fighting evrae make sure not to wast to much of lulu's mp because magic only does half damage to him. When you do beat evrae and come to the first set of guards and are low on hp, kill everything but the weakest gaurd and use al bhed potions. You can use haste on auron if tidus has sufficient mp for all 5 rounds and make use of yuna and her cura spell (depending on what sphere grid you used khimari can have healing spells/black magic or strength if on expert get him to go lulus way so his lancet will drain atleast 1k hp)

Hiya what's up having difficulty in beating him well all you have to do is this first put lulu .... Wakkka and tidus in front and use hastage or haste to three characters use lulu blk magic and wakka's attack + tidus attack or make the ship go further annd use magic .. Lancet and wakkka attackk it should do it

Or just fill up every character overdrive and that will just do it.

If you have it then try using protect then summon Yuna's aeons if it didn't work and notice that Kimahri can learn thrust kick from that machinethat kicks you with it's legs this is not our problem now if you like then try training in the ship before you fight EVRAE then go to the bevelle guards and fight them with your protect and any white magic and if you have evade and counter weapons then use them it will be of much help and if you have the ability alchemy especially on Rikku then use al bhed potions so they can keep healing by 2000 everytime.
For that fighting machine use lancet with kimahri to learn thrust kick and don't keep it at the end because it will eject your characters.

Im also Stuck on that part. The second set of guards and the machina that does Thrust Kick it's really annoying. They should have a save place. By the way we don't have Yuna ^.^ I would by some potions and healing things before you fight Evrae and do the sphere grid. This way you will have more of a chance. Best of luck. :D
