Ok in my first franchise I got Dan Strickler, a young free-agent and didn't use him because I had old good ones.He has bearly gained stats at all after 5-6 years with the team.

Second franchise I got him again and in 2 years (he started ASAP with me) he was better than franchise 1

Why is that?
