Numbers next to troops

Hi, On the main battle screen while fighting your chosen enemy, in the top right corner there is a bar which shows how many troops each side has. What I want to know is what do the numbers either side of this bar coloured red and blue mean. I thought it was how many officers each team had but this became apparent that it is not when I only had me fighting and the number 5 was there. Thank You.

Very late, gravedig, just to inform you it's not morale. Ok so if it's 10 blue and 8 red, but at the start it was 10 blue 10 red, that means 2 red officers have died and came back. It represents how many times an officer can come back into battle. I have no idea how this works, but eh

dynasty warrior answered:

Hi there, it means your troop morale, you might be confused because when 1 person on your team dies(peasent) it doesn't count as 1 kill it counts as more, each stronger the warrior is the more kills it stands for, hope I helped Smile

I think it's morale, but it might maybe possibly be telling you how many times the troops overlap, but I strongly think it's morale.

Guest answered:

The number next to the bars represent ow many times a eliminated character can come back to life. For example: 10blue:10red
Yuan Shao eliminates Sun Jian
Sun Jian has returned to the battle feild
10blue:9red

Guest answered:

It Means That One Character Has Been Defeated, This Determines How Much More Times A Officer Can Withdraw Again,
