There are little Musou ups and lifes up on every level. Try breaking boxes and vases and see if you get any.

In the very first battle against the Yellow Turbans head north and up the first hill. There will be an officer there dispatch him. Then instead of going down into the " flame geysers" turn left defeat the 3 units of troops, look west there will be a ramp leading down follow it down.

You will find a barrel there bust it, inside you will find either a Life up 10, or a Mosou up 10. I can't remember which it is. Anyway go to the opposite side and there will be another 3 units, and another ramp down, and another barrel, break it to find the other Mosou up 10 or Life up 10.

I do this one all the time because it's hard to lose this one and an easy way to increase your max Health and or Mosou.
