You will stand some chance against Rhapthorne. I was at a higher level and that battle felt like it took forever. So be prepared.
It's best to level up more just to make it easier.
Try Howlwind Hill, you have a higher chance of running into Metal King Slimes, Liquid Metal Slimes, and Metal Slimes there. It's a great place to gain levels in a short amount of time.
Though you probably know this since you have the Conqueror's Axe from the area.
Other than that, try finding strong monsters for your monster team if you have one.
