Well, I cannot say why your codebreaker cheat codes do not work but from from what I have both seen and experienced, Codebreaker could be called unreliable at best. I suggest that you destroy the failing device, and then buy either a Gameshark cheating device, or an Action Replay cheating device. No matter which one of the two you choose to use, it is guaranteed that they will both work for you when you need them to. Also, you could try looking to see if the codes you are using are the codes that go with the version of Codebreaker that you are using. If they are not, then they will not work on the game.
