How do you get future trunks? I need to know!

When you are on the Planet Namek (stage 3) use Kid Trunks as your ally. Then defeat Vegeta using Kid Trunks and Future Trunks will now be unlocked.
Defeat vegeta using kid trunks on level 3. Future trunk's name appear's just as trunks.
