I'm confused! I'm not sure how to solve the task to remove the crimson fire?

You can only put the crimson flames out when you are doing the Level 7 mission. In level 7 you will fight hells that are named greed(the ones with the big coffins that summons other types of hells) for the first time. After the fight you will see something drop near the statue that looks like a woman. The item is called siren's shierk. You will use the newly found Item to put out the crimson flames. Find the elevator that goes to the 1st floor as you progress. If you are stuck at level 4 find other paths like using all the doors in the tower. Green, blue and yellow try all those. Level 5 bitten Jester go to the top and place the board item. Fall to the bottom get the shining item that looks like a spear. I'm not going to spoil your game some more.
