How do you equip the Ridepod with his other devices. I don't know how. IT IS DRIVING ME CRAZY.

You click on them and then click equip.
Some upgrades need a new core.
You can't upgrade other devices if your Core is too weak. The Core has only so many points in the beginning. Absorb some points (those blue things) as the Ridepod. When you have 900 or so points, go to Cendric at the train and choose the option "Upgrade Ridepod"; the core is the first item available.
Then you can buy (or make) stuff for Steve the Ridepod. To equip them, go to your item menu, click on the item and choose "Equip" or "Exchange". If the core has enough points, your Ridepod will be equipped with the other devices.
NOTE: Keep buying Core upgrades during the game. The cost will go up each time, but most of the ridepod devices that are worthwhile require your Core to be level 3 or higher.
