Question for Dark Cloud

How do you pass level B15 The Divine Beast Dran's Chamber,
the only fighters I have are the boy and the cat.

I'm doing the same as Jaxter but it's not working, also how do you get the fishing pole?

You have to walk up to the ledge of the gap and press x this only works if the cat is the character you are using.
