Question for Cricket 2004

This sounds really noobish, but I don't have the manual for this game and i wanted to know how to cut a ball, is it triangle , left and up at the same time ? I would also like to check how you guys hit sixes, do you always have to press the batsman advance thingy because I don't think you can hit a six by just using a front foot shot. and get

If you use triangel, left and up, you will play the backfoot late cut.

The cut shot is left and triangle (and L1 if you want to thump it to the boundary) and for a left hander, it is right and triange (and L1 if you want to thump it to the boundary).

You can also hit front foot sixes. Charging will make life hard, as you can never seem to nailed it.

Hey hows it goin.
To cut a ball you use X and just the laft or right depending on wheather his a left or right handed batsman if it is a full pitched delivery n the same but triangle if it's a bouncer.

And yeah you can hit a 6 without charging but time it just b4 the ball bounces and watch the swing on the ball
