I took babik nurn out of jail and I went to Blackdelve Reach and I when..

Somtimes babik is a little idiot and doesnt follow you to the door. What you have to do is reload the game.This may take a couple times but when you get to the door just wait awhile and he should come if not just turn the game off then back on. And no this isnt the end of the game you still have a good sized road ahead.

I found a way. Quite a bit tricky. It happened to me and my bro. We get stucked at this part of the game because we needed the... Blood Ruby(I think). So we had to go to Melman Froes manor to obtain the ruby using a Gate Scroll (the exit door to the Vanarhost's Castle is sealed anyway). From this moment, we lost Babik Nurn (we were back in the castle). Using another scroll, we were back to the village (now Babik's lifebar was visible again, but the puny character was not around). Having the Ruby in hand, we're going back to Viggs' ship without Babik (thinking he was on the other side of the beach) but couldn't sell it to us because that stupid navigator was not there... In fact, after some searches, the lost gnome was on the opposite side of the beach. We were screwed.

Finally, after hours of running around all the stages, exploring, saving, teleporting, gate scrolling our way, we finally got a trick to overcome this nasty bug.

First, try to find Babik Nurn, from one side of the beach (the beginning) or the other one (the end of the act). One good thing to do is to use the teleport pole, going to any place/dungeon and then coming back at the village. After that, try to find Babik. Once you find that pesky gnome, take the teleport to the Cavern of the Fallen (2nd level). From there, enter the castle, to to the exit, after the cells, near the door that lead to the beach (and the boat) but don't open it. At this moment, use a Gate Scroll to get back at the village. From there, find your annoying gnome and bring at the nearest part of the late shores, right behind the house of the shop (a small place where you'll find some chests). Right now, use a final Gate Scroll (don't forget to bring all the stuff you need for the next quest. From this point, there's no way to come back) and you'll find yourself inside the castle right at the front of the exit door. Enter the door. Go straight to the ship and Babik will find his way to you (you can search him if he's slow to reach your position).

Babik will stay approximately at the point you left him, can skip some obstacles and can even go through water (which is not a good thing, he may get stucked forever and you need to teleport) so that's why he can jump the ledge of the first part of the Blackdelve Reach to the last and find your heroes...

THANK YOU!!! Didn't make JUST LIKE THIS but you gave me an idea... When THIS happened, I kept goin back and forth, rooms ahead, rooms around... Until I saw Babik, stuck on a wall before the cells. I go foward, to the door, he doesn't come, back to him, back to exit door... He transports to a pillar! Kept doing this til he became close to the door and FINALLY comes outside!
Don't teleport or do nothing if you don't whant to make the path again... Go straight to the boat and move to chapter III.
