I was supposed to get the Mistmoore Ruby from him for saving his daughter, but I forgot and already killed the vampire. When I tried to get on the boat I found out that I needed the ruby so I went back to him to get it, but now he's not at his house. Has anyone else had this problem and if so has anyone solved it?

If you are still at the boat.. Just turn around like you are going towards the castle, keep walking and you will see him.. It's not too far .. I was stuck at the same part for a little while also
