Killing three timber wolves

I`m having trouble killing a timber wolf,claiming it,then killing another one.I switched to a recurve,instead of the coumpound.It`s difficult trying to find another single timber wolf,without getting killed myself.If I kill one close to one,it attackes me and I`ve got to start over.What do I need to do to kill the 2ND and 3RD timber wolf?
