I think the one you are missing is in a tree. Start the level and head toward the cave. Keep your screen to where you can search the trees to your left. I don't remember for sure if it is before or after the one on the ground where the kids end up but I believe that it is close. It took me forever to find it too!

****It was right where you said it was! I think it's the only stump high in a tree throughout the game. I searched for this one stump for at least four hours.
