How do you catch the Sockeye Salmon, I am using the correct lure, but have no idea why they are not biting on it. I have gone slow reeling in, stop and start reeling in, and fast and slow reeling in, but no matter what I do I can't get them to hit the lure. What am I doing wrong?

try casting the line upstream let the current wash it into their mouth and reel in like theres no tomarrow. there not goona try and go after it because at that time of wear they have done ate for their journey upstream
ya i look every fishing spot in the lake and never one of them bite
What you might want to try doing is go to the pacific ocean spot. Look on your gps to find out where theyre located. Then use the rubber shrimp on them. Try that and see if that works.
