He is susceptible to kicks esp. Low kicks or spinning back kicks. Attack him just after blocking his attacks. Have a large heal or medicine equipped in each slot. You will probably have to use one or both to stay alive.

I usually do triple whip kick (->, triangle, triangle, triangle) then beat the hell out of him when he is on the ground. Rinse and repeat. Actually that is usually what I do for most of the fights I get into with Aaron. Brass knuckles will help by boosting attack power.
