Not sure how many more there are but after I finished the game with the barbarian I was able to choose a dark elf 'drizzt do'urden' by going of the player select screen to the right.

There are 2 secret characters - Drizit Do'Urden [The Drow Ranger] ( when you complete the game ) and Artemis ??? [The Human Assasin] ( when you complete the game on extreme mode).
