Question for Baldur's Gate: Dark Alliance

What is the point of rubies, emeralds, saphires, etc.? Can I equip them into weapons or do they have some other purpose???

The only thing good rubys and saffires and other gems are for is selling.They don't give you much but atleast it's something.

Gems and rubies can make your weapons stronger but it will cost you money

The reason this games has gems is strictly for money only (you sell it)

You can sell them for gold. That is their only purpose.
