Swamp Monster

In the level with the big green swamp monster how do you defeat it?

When he slams one of his arms to the ground, try to get to either edge of the area. His arms will be stuck there for a while. While his arm is on the ground, try to hit it as many times as possible. You may have to repeat this process a few times. Sometimes, he will sweep the area with one of his arms. When he does this, roll head on towards the flailing arm and you will roll right under it. Other times, he will just stick his arms into the water beside him. Try to hit his arms as much as possible at this point. Once you have destroyed all of the vines that make up his "hands", the whole monster will slouch forward and you need to get to one of the symbols on the ground and start bending. Hold down x and keep aiming at the swamp monster. This process of destroying the arms and then bending at the monster will need to be repeated about a few times. Hope this helps.
