dhaka threw me into the southern passage on my way to the throne room i have jumped swung on ropes just to find im in the same place.how do i carry on my quest
Bring an enemy near a wall,then wall run up it.In mid-run,press square twice.If you do this right,the prince will jump back without turnig as he does when you keep running.When you land the Prince will do a double slash.This attack will kill most enemies and if it doesn't,it will cause a lot damage.This is very useful if you are low on life and keep on being killed.
When your on the boat at the begining if you closly all of your shipmates have the sword your father has in Prince of Persia T2T.
Just stay patient and either slow down time and keep hitting her and when she goes to kick the girl in red then give her a good wack.
1st Life Upgrade
(PAST) After fighting the girl in black a second time,
Pull the large altar on ground level of the sacrificial chamber
To reveal a secret door.
Go through the trapped hallway and bag the first life upgrade.
2nd Life Upgrade
(PAST) This is after Slow Time is earned.
From the room where the Prince has a cut-scene with the maggot man creature,
Head into the large courtyard-like room with a timed floor switch next to
Some stairs.
This switch opens a low gate at the top of the same set of stairs.
Go through that trapped hallway for the second life upgrade.
2nd Life Upgrade Alternative Way

Thanks to some awesome info from ChadK I know it's now possible to get this
Upgrade without useing the Eye of the Storm (Slow Time) power and thus getting
This upgrade first instead of second.
Here's how to do it:
>What I do to collect this one is hit the switch at the bottom of the
>stairs, jump over the banister onto the stairs, and then use the
>wall running skill up the side wall of the stairs until I get to the
>top, and then dive through the opening.
3rd Life Upgrade
(PAST) This is after the Serpent Sword is earned.
Rotate the turnstile switch directly opposite the facing of the metal nub the
Serpent Sword was used to create platforms to a door at the bottom of the chasm.
Use long wall jumping to slow
The Prince's descent down to the level of the door.
Past that door is a trapped hallway that leads to life upgrade #3.
4th Life Upgrade
(PAST) When exploring the Garden Tower,
Look for a room that is overgrown with vegatation and is right below a box
And folding bridge puzzle
(it is in the same vicinity as the first switch
That turns on the water for the Garden Tower).
A break in the fencing allows the Prince to drop off and use ledges
To access a door underneath the overgrown vegetation room.
The fourth life upgrade is past that trapped hallway.
5th Life Upgrade
(PAST) When exploring the Garden Tower's second water puzzle,
Ledge up after turning on the water
(but before exitting the room with the turn switch) for upgrade numero-five-o.
6th Life Upgrade
(PAST) When exploring the Clock Tower,
Look the giant golem enemy that throws explosives.
One breakable wall is a save point,
But there is a second breakable wall on the other end of the room
Leading to the life upgrade.
7th Life Upgrade
(PAST) After gaining the Scorpion Sword
And a particularly tough giant golem encounter,
A ladder leads the Prince to a Roman courtyard room;
Two breakable walls are here -- one has a switch,
The other has the door which requires slow time to access.
The life upgrade is past that door. 8th Life Upgrade
(PAST) In the Library. On the second circular balance beam.
Jump off unto a ledge and shimmy across the bottom ledge and up to the door.
9th Life Upgrade
(PAST) Remember the Place near the beggining
Where you chase Shadee and a door shuts behind her?
And then you have to go up a set of platforms to finally
Reach the switch atop the room?. Right before sacrificial pit.
-You must go back there when you get a sword that can break walls.
-Make your way back up this room. Look carefully when on the top platforms.
-There should be A set of metal bars in one of the wall that seem damaged.
There's a crate behind those bars.
-Break the metal bars with your sword.
Bring the crate onto the platform and look up.
You can use the crate to acess a passage in the roof.
When the dahaka talks it's all like' jisugaseturio ' well rewind after he talks and you understand him ( I only found out when I died after he talked and I heard 'YOU CAN NOT ESCAPE)
Not helpful I know but fun!
To get the new weapon get all of the life upgrades.
When you encounter the large brute you do the same as the little ones. Run under its legs and slash them then jump on his back and slow time and slash him fast
Make sure to never get hit allways vault over enemies by pressing x . All though you can not do this on the ladies they block you .
Another tip is only have 1 sword press triangle and hold it to keep an enimie hostige to strage tap 0 repeatedly or to chop them press square you can ollso vault over and pree circle circle to steal there weapon and kill them it only workes while they are weak.
To kill those annoying lady monsters just steal an axe and throw it at them instant decapitation.
