Easy Goals:
During a break away hold 'Speedburst' followed by 'Square' for a slap shot. If you take the shot at an angle you will score most of the time.
Cheaper Players:
Place the best players on a team and then create a franchise and play. When it gets to the end of the season or playoffs make your players play bad and you'll be able to sign them cheap.
Avoiding Bad Phone Calls:
Save the game and answer the call, if it's a bad call reload the game and try again.
If you create a player put his/her stats up to 99 and he/she will be your star player.

Mario Crosby- type in "imadoughfus" at the "play now" option.
Wayne Yzerman- During season mode, go to your roster menu and type in "yamisostupid". Gordie Ovechkin- Be the Washington Capitols and verse the Detroit red wings. Then, in the last five minutes of the game, a player named Gordie Ovechkin will appear on both teams.
(Ps. All of these players are amazing and do not show up on your lines).
