Easier way to beat "The End" is to save the game while in battle with him,

Turn off Ps2, reset system clock for 2 weeks, re-load the game and you

Will get a scene of snake sneaking up on the end who is dead.

You will not get anything for this but it is the fastest way I have found

To "take care of " him and move on with the game.
