FAT BUT MUSCULAR

If you create your own character and put his muscle all the way up with no fat his whole gut will be fat.

HISTORICAL PLAYERS

You can create historic players at create-a-player, the commenatators will call their names and not their numbers.

The ones that I discovered are Dan Marino, Warren Moon, Steve Young, Phil Simms, Herschel Walker, Joe Montana, Roger Craig, O.J. Simpson, Barry Sanders, Gale Sayers, Michael Irving, William Perry, Deion Sanders, Art Shell, Mike Singletary, Jackie Slater, Howie Long.

I suspect that these players are unlockables upon getting gold at mini camp. If I discover anymore I will post them.
By the way I just won the Super Bowl (ALL-MADDEN DIFFICULTY) using Miami, of course I should mention that I did not use Fiedler, but I used Marino (created).

I beat the 49ers 31-9, So it is not impossible to win at all madden level, further more my record was 14-2. So there is hope, so keep practicing and get to know your playbook and players.

HISTORIC PLAYERS

It's me again, just basking in the afteglow after ahem, winning the Super Bowl on all madden difficulty, using my team, the Miami Dolphins.

I don't use fiedler as my QB, I use Dan Marino and yes Al Michaels and Madden recognize him, they call his name and not his number as with created players.

I suspect that these historic players are cards rewarded for fininshing a drill. Anyway other historic players you can create and their names will be called and not their number are as follows:

Are you ready for this? O.J. Simpson (the Juice), Warren moon, Joe Montana, Phil Simms, Herschel Walker, Roger Craig, Barry Sanders, Gale Sayers, Michael Irvin, William Perry, Deion Sanders, Art Shell, Mike Singletary, Jackie Slater, Howie Long.

Maybe there is more but those are the ones I have discovered for now. Make sure names are spelt correctly, and you can assign these players any attributes you wish and still there names will be called.

These really work, so try it!

ALL MADDEN DIFFICULTY

This is 4 players having difficulty with madden 2004, destroyed a controller or two. Dont despair, it is not hopeless. I have been playing Madden 2004 for only a couple of months, had the game from last year but didnt really spend time playing it until recently. I don't proclaim to me an expert but I thinkmy hints can be useful.

First you need to choose a strong team or balanced. I use the miami dolphins. I just won the superbowl at all pro level using the dolphins, Im unbeaten (19-0). Im now playing on all madden difficulty, completely different than all pro.

Anyway you need to know how to read defenses, know how to run the ball by following blockers, audible if necessary, I audible on almost if not all my plays.

The passing game is very difficult on all madden difficulty, you need to use a lot of passes to your fb and rb coming out of the backfield, use short passes (west coast offense), only go fot the bomb if there is one and one coverage, don't try to get big gains on every play, move ball methodically and patiently.

I make an average of 15 plays before I score a touchdown in most instances.U also need a good quarterback, I use Dan Marino, I created him, 99 for all attributes, surprisingly the commentators say is name, kewl isnt it? Anyway I use him like Michae Vick, in one game marino's rushing was 188 yds.

I got those stats against the seattle seahawks beating them 52-10. In terms of defense you need to know what play does what, I use 4-3 for most runnning plays and I use dime and quarter a lot for passes and I got most ints my ints using dime, I got as much as 8 ints (all madden level) in one game (seahawks game).

Anyway thats all for now until I can win the SB on all madden level.

Re: Ok, now listen up. If you want a really good team this is wh

Ok, now listen up kiddys... you are all playing old school style, slow mode, sissy style. Here's a hint that will reall, AND I MEAN REALLY, kick your game up a notch!

Forget about pre-made players, its time to make up your own NFL foot ball team out of your own home town football team (or favourite team)...

I like to call this "Oagarr Style" football. all you need to do is to make up an entire team of:

7' tall
100% mustle
0% fat
all of the pads & protection that it has to offer
and abilites, turned all the way up to 99
(if you give your players easy names, the announsers can say them, it's kinda cool.)

The calary cap will auotomatically turn off for you, and this will take up some space on your memory card, but not much...

Also, this takes some time to do, but I have no life.

-Fantasy football at its best-

P.S. How do you turn on Owners Mode in the Franchise Mode?

Create Cheap Player

To create a cheap player in madden is simple.

First lets say you want to make a running back.

In the Create-A-Player screen choose that you want to make a punter ( Dont worry it will work out).

Next fix up the look of your player and Then when you get to the attributes screen keep all of the punting attributes down ( Like kick power and kick accuracy).

Then put all of his other attributes up making him best at all the postions except punter.

The game recognizes that you made a really bad punter but you have a really good running back for not much money!

Draft picks and really good players

After the last game of the season, it'll ask you if you want to advance to the off-season. Say no and go save your game.

Then create a player and make him 45 years old at QB. Take his stats really low. Then go to rosters and sign him as a free agent. Then go back to Create-a-player and take his stats all the way up.

Now trade him for high draft picks or a really good younger guy.

Now save and go to the off-season schedule. In retiring players you should see your character has retired without playing a single game.

Now you can go back and delete him to save Memory Card space.

Keep Salary Money

When you are creating a player for Franchise mode or a different Game mode, you can keep his total salary lower if you don't just make all of his atributes so high. Keep them down to an 85 or 90. This will keep him good enough for your team without paying him too much.
