A very good game if you like football, to start out the series of madden....

My friends, This is the all time best looking, funest, greatest game. The graphics are so real. Madden 2001 is great for PS1 but my god, your heart will skip a beat on PS2.

Gameday, cant touch Madden. I just wish EA would have came out with NCAA Football for PS2 this year. I can't wait to see what could be better.

This is one of the best football games that I've ever played. It has got everything; graphics, gameplay, presentation. The only thing that it could work on is the sound.

Madden can get kind of annoying with his comments sometimes. All-in-all, the game is great though. The graphics are outstanding as I mentioned before. The stadiums and player models look so realistic.

The lighting effect is done extremely well, too. Also, the coaches are all designed to perfection and look as they do in real-life.

The gameplay of it is very good, too. The controls are all easy to handle and make it easy for a user to get to buttons quickly.

You can do all of the things you could in other Maddens and the buttons are almost all the same except for the top ones. The sound it needs to work on. Madden, like I said, can get really annoying with his comments and Leslie Nealson can get annoying, too.

The sound I don't worry about though because you're more involved with the game then with what the announcers are talking about and saying. So sound isn't a big factor for me.

The game is extremely fun and realistic and I would recommend it to anyone who enjoys football and has a Playstation 2.
