To turn the cheat mode on, go the main menu and enter the following combo at a reasonable speed...

Select, Square(2), Circle(2), Triangle, Square, Triangle, Circle.

At the cheat menu you will find options for invisible and silent play (so others can not either see or hear you). If you continue from that menu you will find a level select page where you should use left and right to choose the level you next want to play.
