When you do an encore your drummer explodes and you get a new one you go through
About 5 drummers

Play each song on medium on hyperspeed. Enter this for Hyperspeed, Orange, Blue, Orange, Yellow, Orange, Blue, Orange, Yellow.

Then reset your console and play on hard and it will seem to go super slow!!

1. Hitting the strum bar too much will cost you more of your rock meter then missing notes.

2. Even though hyper speed looks harder, for some songs it makes it easier, this is becuase the notes are spread apart

At the shop you can buy new and cooler outfits for your charactors. I bought Axel a new outfit and it rocked. TO use a out fit go to charactor page and choose the person you bougt for and equip it.

If you want to listen to your favourite guitar hero tunes but are too lazy to pick up the guitar and play, this is what you do:

Go to 'training' on the main menu then go to practice. Pick the song you like, then choose a part (ie lead or bass, if you choose bass I think the volume of the bass is increased) and difficulty (it doesn't matter for this) then highlight 'Full song' and wait for a couple of seconds (some of the longer songs take a moment to load) then you'll get to hear the whole song all the way through without having to play! Awesome dude!

If you can beet about five songs on hard you can probobly beet one song on expert or more.

If you can beet about five songs on hard you can at least one song on hard.

If you have a brother or sister have them do the wammy bar it's way easier trust me.

If any of you have been wondering what they are well...
Hamer-ons-when 2 notes are close together you (say green then yellow) hold green, strum and then press yellow
Pull-offs-the same thing in reverse

If you are cheap (like me), then instead of going out and buying a special controller for the game, you can just use the standard playstation controller, just use L2 for green, L1 for red, R1 for yellow, R2 for blue, and X for orange

Take advantage of the new practice mode in Guitar Hero 2. It was not in the previous Guitar Hero. It well really help you get those tough songs, you will be able to slow the songs down.

In career mode, if you make the grim reaper your character, switch to izzy and it should say your using the scythe.

1. RELAX - Don't press the fret buttons down too hard. This will improve your speed when switching buttons.

2. Use Hammer Ons and Pull offs - (Hint: They made Guitar hero 2 so that you can pull off without having your finger on lets say Red then green, you can just do red alone then green alone, It will still pull off.)

3. Improve your single strum to a very fast rate ( single strums keep a better beat)

4. If your on a really long row of repeated fast notes and you keep missing them, slow down, usually your going too fast if you do a double strum.

5. If your stuck on a song, then play the songs that you played before and 5 star them. This will improve your chances at beating that song.

Playing with the guitar over your head will not make you better.
