Unlock Characters and In-Game Extras

Below is a list of the different ways that special modes, characters and abilities are obtained in the game.

Unlock Justice:

Beat at least 20 Missions in Mission mode or alternately complete her Story mode.

Unlock Kliff:

Beat at least 10 Missions in Mission Mode or alternately complete his Story mode.

Alternate way of Unlocking GG Generations Mode:

Get 50% GGX or 100% GG of the Arcade Gallery Artwork.

Play through Gold Arcade/M.O.M. Mode:

Unlock ALL Gold Characters and hold L1.

Play through EX Arcade/M.O.M. Mode:

Unlock ALL EX Characters and Hold L2.

To Play through Gold EX Arcade Mode:

Unlock ALL Gold and EX characters and then hold L1 + L2 when starting Arcade/M.O.M. Modes.

Select #Reload Versions of Unlocked Extra Slash Stages:

Hold the R2 (Respect) button over the stage and the title will turn Yellow (#R Stages will become unloocked automatically with every Slash stage you unlock).

Select EX Characters:

Press 'Start' then Select 'EX Option' (also access GG Generations mode).

Select Gold Characters:

Press Respect (R2) to toggle the 'Slash Color' Option and Press 'Dust' (R1).

Select Black Characters:

Press Respect (R2) to toggle the 'Reload Color' Option and Press 'Dust' (R1).

Unlock ALL EX Characters/GG Generations Mode/Special Options:

Beat ALL 30 missions in Mission mode.

Unlock specific EX Characters:

Either play through at least one path of the characters Story mode or defeat the corresponding character's Black EX Form in Survival mode.

Unlock Specific Gold/Black Characters:

Either play through ALL of that Character's Story paths in Story mode or defeat the corresponding character's Gold form in Survival mode.

Unlock Specific Extra GGXX Slash Stages:

Play through a certain path in a Corresponding Character's Story mode

Unlock Special Illustration 1:

Unlocks automatically.

Unlock Special Illustrations 2, 3, 4, 5, and 6:

Beat Survival mode up to level 500.

Unlock Special Illustration 7:

Unlock ALL Gold/Black Characters.

Unlock Special Illustration 8:

Collect ALL Arcade mode Gallery Artwork.

Unlock Special Illustration 9:

Collect ALL EX Arcade mode Gallery Artwork.

Unlock Special Illustration 10:

Beat ALL of Survival mode up to level 1000.

Unlock Gallery 'Secrets' (Omake Extra Voice, Actor Interviews):

These are time released once every few hours of gameplay.
